[It's hard to say if Loki's genuinely serious, or if he's heightening it to make it sound like Hiro's really needed just to get the boy to cooperate, but maybe at this point Hiro doesn't even care. He hardly waits for Loki to remove a cookie or two from the tray before his hand reaches out to snatch one, chewing on it as the god speaks.
