Perhaps I was a teensy bit rude. It's more that they like to horde themselves away, sitting on whatever great work of dwarvish art they have down there in those mines, unwilling to share. Well, unless someone goes as far as to make nice with them. Very, very far—which Hiro seems to be on a steady path toward. They've much of the same disposition where I'm from. The Aesir, luckily, have a pact with them, mostly because we have things that they want.

I need you to contextualize things a little better. There are secret bits of information all over this world that we're working to find. I'm heading to Mair. There's that jackass at Redgate. Ariadne's headed up or is heading up. And more. [He pauses.]

Each of these pieces of information have been horded away, don't you think? Careful where you lay your biases, Loki. Unless you've been too busy lately to think about them. [There is a follow up here, but he isn't going for it.

Your point has been made and graciously accepted, unless you'd like to speak of it further. The rest of our little quest won't be able to be attended to until after you return from Mair, and, well ... it's been a while since we had a drink together.

An arrogant, mocking lilt accompanies these next words:]
